The faculty leadership also introduced the board members to the overall vision for the faculty’s strategic development, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening scientific excellence.
Particular attention during the discussions was devoted to the faculty’s long-term development priorities, research quality, international competitiveness, doctoral studies, and the creation of a sustainable academic and research environment.
The Advisory Board highly appreciated the faculty’s scientific potential, the strong engagement of its staff, and the existing research infrastructure. At the same time, the experts highlighted the need to strengthen the faculty’s strategic focus, internal cohesion, and clear scientific identity.
The Board recommended continuing the optimisation of the organisational structure, concentrating resources on priority research areas, developing sustainable research groups, strengthening the doctoral study environment, and creating a more coordinated approach to research and human resource development.
